Outdoor Education
Students in Year 5-11 attend a three-day camp each year.
Camps are a fantastic opportunity for children to develop teamwork and leadership skills, grow friendships and share common interests. Teachers attend camps, which further builds the relationships between students and their teachers. Camps create memorable experiences for all students.
Activities at camps vary depending on the type of camp and facilities available. Camps may include activities such as hiking, mountain biking, high ropes, teamwork challenges and archery, to name a few.
Camps are held at a variety of venues around South East Queensland including Lake Moogerah, Camp Burleigh at Burleigh Heads, CYC at Numinbah Valley and QCCC at Mt Tambourine. In Year 11, students attend a Leadership Camp at Emu Gully Adventure near Toowoomba in preparation for their roles as the Senior Student Leaders in Year 12.
