Welcome back to Term 3 and a special welcome to our new students and their families. Polly and Ella have joined us in Year 2, Archie in Year 4 and Roshini in Year 5.  It’s not easy joining a new school but I know that they have already been made to feel very welcome by the children and staff. Welcome also to Ms Sarah Day who has joined us to cover PE in Mr Grew’s absence this semester. 

What it means to be an effective learner has already been a part of the conversations this term and I was delighted yesterday to receive a video of three Prep students engaged in true collaborative learning around a Maths task. Effective practices developed early and built upon will serve our learners well as they go into the future. Examples of other practices are evident in all our classes and more will be shared in the Primary Campus Newsletter. All teachers are engaged in further professional learning this term around INSPIRE Mathematics and our ongoing work around Visible Learning. 

We are looking forward to a very busy term full of learning, sporting and cultural events. We will also be conducting open mornings and enrolments interviews for Prep students for 2022.
