Blue ribbons were adorned by Secondary students on Friday 14 May in a day of awareness about anti-bullying and speaking up - Do It for Dolly Day !

The quote "speak, even if your voice shakes" was a key message of the day. Students discussed this in Mentor class activities after watching a segment from "The Project" that gave insight into statistics of bullying in schools and messages from various Australian celebrities about the importance of standing up, speaking out, being strong, helping others, being there and taking action against incidents of bullying - even if it is hard, difficult, and even if our voices shake.

Students were reminded of people at school who are there to help and support them with any issues and of our online anonymous bullying reporting program, Stymie.
