QFES PRESENTATION
As some of you may or may not know, our School Groundsmen, Mr Mitch Hurtz is a member of the Qld Fire & Emergency Services, Stanthorpe Fire Services.
QFES aims to protect persons, property and the environment through the continued delivery of emergency services, awareness programs, response capability and capacity, and incident response and recovery for a safer environment and township for us all to live in.
Tuesday, 9th March saw members and fellow crew members of the local Stanthorpe Fire Services, meet with Mr Matthew Brown and Mrs Brooke Butson, to present the school with a gift to say "Thank You" for allowing Mitch to be able to still attend call outs, whilst employed here at St Joseph's.
We too, wish to pass on our thanks, more importantly to the great service these people provide to our community.
