YEAR 3 GUEST SPEAKERS
It's always good to have people who are passionate about Science talk to to our students.
Wednesday 3rd March saw Ned's dad Tim visit the Year 3 classroom to talk about how he relies on his knowledge of animals to help him in his job as a farmer. He talked to the class about the different breeds of cattle and sheep that he raises and how they differ or are the same in not only their outward appearance, but also in temperament and breeding purposes.
Friday 5th March saw another guest speaker visit the Year 3 classroom. David's grandad met the Preps to Year 3 classes in the Multi-Purpose room and discussed with the students the life cycle of butterflies. The students were fascinated to learn more about the metamorphosis of this insect. Students can now observe this life cycle in the classroom thanks to Mr Kendall's donation of caterpillars, plants and enclosure.
