SEMPER UNA YEAR 6 CELEBRATION
The completion of Primary school is a significant milestone in a student's education, and this week 39 Joey's students can celebrate just that! As their time at Primary school comes to a close, it is fitting that the achievements of the Year 6 students were proudly acknowledged at an official celebration in the form of a Semper Una - "Always One".
Held at St Joseph's Church on Wednesday 2nd December, the celebration included a mass and presentation, followed by a morning tea for the students. While there is always sadness as some students part ways with some of their close, childhood friends, we hope all students also have a sense of pride in a school that nurtured and protected them through their early years, as well as feel excited as they anticipate the new opportunities, challenges and adventures that await them. We also encourage all students to remember their Mercy values as they continue their journey into Secondary. Congratulations to our Year 6 Joey's students!
