Whilst some have benefited from rains earlier in the year, there are many who missed out and the impact of the drought continues to be an ongoing burden to many families.

I am now the point of contact at Southern Downs Regional Council for landholder drought related activities and I circulate a brief email each week to those who are interested.

The email contains information on drought funding, mental health, caring for land, caring for animals and any other tid bits which might be of interest.

I am also here to help residents prepare funding applications and I would encourage anyone who needs a bit of hand to let me know.
