SCHOOL UNIFORM POLICY
We have reviewed our policy with respect to uniforms and changes are as follows :
Undershirts: Primary students may wear a red long-sleeved undershirt under their school shirt on cold days. These are available at Gleesons Mercery. Secondary students may wear a white long-sleeved undershirt under their formal shirt or sports shirt while they are wearing a jumper or jacket (the undershirt must be taken off when the jumper or jacket is taken off).
Sports Uniform (Secondary): On Monday, Wednesday and Friday's, the formal uniform should be worn. On those days, if a student has a PE class, they will need to change into their sports uniform for the lesson and back into their formal uniform after the lesson. Teachers will give students time during the lesson to get changed. On these days, students are not to wear their sports uniform to and from school.
Shaving: Older students need to be clean shaven. If a student arrives at school unshaven, one of the Heads of Wellbeing will contact parents to discuss the matter and ask that it be addressed for the next day. If a student repeatedly fails to comply with this expectation, parents will be contacted, and the student may be sent home. Students will not be expected to shave at school.
Please also remember that all students are to have appropriate haircuts and are only to wear authorised jewellery at school.
