During the recent school break, five enthusiastic Year 10 and Year 11 students joined Father Nathan Webb, Mrs Gianna Blaxland and Mr Andrew Kendall to attend Ignite Conference 25 in South Brisbane. This dynamic Catholic youth and leadership event brought together high schoolers, young adults, and leaders from across Queensland and northern New South Wales.

Ignite Conference is designed to inspire faith, foster community, and promote mission—and it certainly delivered. The four-day experience was filled with uplifting talks, vibrant music, and opportunities for reflection and connection. Our students returned feeling inspired, energised, and deeply moved by the sense of unity and purpose shared among attendees.

Building on the success of Ignite, we’re excited to announce that later this year, a group of our Year 11 students will be heading to the Australian Catholic Youth Festival in Melbourne, where they’ll join young people from all over Australia in another powerful celebration of faith and leadership.
