Davadi Big Winners!
In what was a cold, wet track after rain in the lead up, the Cross Country 2025 was lit up with outstanding student participation and a high level of competitive spirit on display.
The Primary School McLucas Family Trophy was claimed by Davadi who repeated the effort claiming the Secondary School Hilton Family Trophy to make it a clean sweep for Davadi on the day.
A huge congratulations must also be given to McAuley who showed incredible fight and house spirit; pushing Davadi all the way to the deciding race. McAuley led by 20 points going into the final race, however it was ultimately Davadi who ran away 32-point winners finishing as the overall champions of the day.
A notable achievement for the day was Alanna Fox from McAuley breaking the 11-Year-old Girls record set by Georgia Petrie in 2022 with a time of 12.58.00, Alanna surpassed the mark by 27 seconds with a time of 12.31.00.
Congratulations Alanna!
Those students who have eyes on higher representation will head to Border District trials on Thursday 2 May.
