On Tuesday 4th March, pancakes will be sold in acknowledgement of Shrove Tuesday.

Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Day, is the day before Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of Lent in the Christian calendar. It's traditionally a day of feasting and celebration before the 40-day period of fasting and penance during Lent. It's also customary to use up rich foods like eggs, milk, and sugar before the Lenten fast, which is why pancakes are commonly associated with Shrove Tuesday.

Pancakes will be served on Primary during morning tea and Secondary during lunch break. 

Pancakes are preorder only at a cost of $2.50 per serve (1 pancake) with the option of cream and/or maple syrup available on the day.

Ordering via QKR and must be completed by 9am Monday 3rd March.

Funds raised from the sale of pancakes will go towards Project Compassion.
