For the past three years, Mrs Mary McLucas and I have had the pleasure of working with students on basic embroidery. At the last Stanthorpe Agricultural Show, we were thrilled to see 43 junior entries in the “Stitch-craft” section—a truly encouraging result!

This year, we are excited to continue our sessions every Thursday at 1pm at the School, where we will teach and inspire children to develop new skills.

Some students have been taking their sewing projects home and we kindly ask parents to remind their children to bring these projects back to school on Thursdays.

A big thank you to our enthusiastic students and supportive parents for their assistance and encouragement. We look forward to seeing many wonderful entries in our 2025 annual Show.
