The secondary Walkathon was a tremendous success! Well done to everyone who attended and participated with such wonderful spirit. A big thank you to the staff and parents for their organisation and help, as well as to the Qld Blue Light Association for loaning us their games trailer and Brubuild for providing the fencing for the event. Special thanks to Gianna Blaxland and Madi Cronin for their efforts in organising and running the event.

• 1st place: Year 9 - 2935 laps
• 2nd place: Year 10 - 2825 laps
• 3rd place: Year 7 - 2074 laps
• 4th place: Year 8 - 2053 laps
• 5th place: Year 11/12 - 1586 laps

That’s a total of 11,473 laps, approximately 3786 kilometers—further than walking from the top to the bottom of Australia!
