Futsal

Three of our students recently represented the Darling Downs at the Queensland Schools State Futsal Championships: Alessia Gasparin (15-16 Girls), Sasha Kendall (13-14 Girls), and Kai Lang (13-14 Boys). Our Principal, Mr Andrew Kendall OAM, had the honor of coaching the 13-14 Girls team.

The Championships concluded on Sunday, 20th October, and we couldn’t be prouder of our three students. Competing against the best school futsal players in Queensland, they showcased exceptional skill and sportsmanship. Special congratulations to Kai for winning silver and Alessia for securing bronze with their teams!

Well done to all our students and coaches for their dedication and hard work.

Cricket

On October 14, 2024, Year 9 student, Will Lawer attended the 13–15 years (Boys) Regional Cricket Trials at Toowoomba Grammar School. Will performed exceptionally well, showcasing his skills and dedication. Although he didn’t secure a spot on the team, the experience was invaluable.

Will gained insights and motivation that will surely benefit him in future trials. We look forward to seeing him continue to grow and succeed in his athletic journey.
