DEBATING SUCCESS
Congratulations to our Debating teams for their outstanding performance in the first round of the Queensland Debating Union competition held in Toowoomba on Wednesday 21st February.
Both of our Year 8 teams secured victories against Warwick State High School and Toowoomba Anglican School. Even though the Year 10's narrowly lost to the Glennie School, it's clear that they put up a strong and well-argued debate.
Congratulations also to our Year 11 (Senior division) debaters who had a good win against Fairholme College last night in their first round of the Queensland Debating Union competition in Toowoomba.
Overall, a brilliant effort by all the participants. Best of luck to the other year levels as they prepare for their first rounds in the upcoming weeks. With such dedication and skill, they're sure to make a mark in the competition as well!
