Over the past two weeks Jeremey Lister, Ned Robinson, Izaya De Mamiel and Patrick Moxham have represented St Joseph's at the Granite Belt Chess tournament.

The format sees each school compete against each other to play off for the chance to be declared the winner. After our preliminary rounds, the boys were successful in making the final.

After an extremely close contest, our team went down four and a half games to three and a half. 

The students are congratulated on their commitment to training each week and the sportspersonship displayed. Our congratulations to the State Primary school on their victory.
