The construction of the P&F Association led Nature Play Project on the Primary campus will be commencing next week. This space will add great functionality to the area behind the current Prep and Year 1 classrooms. The plan will be to complete the project by the start of 2024. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated for the working bees to be held from 9am to 12pm on Saturday 18 November, Sunday 26 November and Saturday 2 December. Donations of equipment and other items for the space and donations of home bake and cold drinks for the volunteers on the working bees would be also be helpful. My thanks to the P&F Association for its wonderful support of the students and school.

The Year 12s’s finish their external assessment this week. My thanks to Matthew Brown and the senior school teachers for preparing them for these exams and all staff who have worked with them from Prep to Year 12. We are looking forward to their graduation next week and wish them well for the future.

At the other end of the schooling journey, this week we welcomed the 2024 Preps for a Prep Open Morning where they got to meet their teachers and peers, and experience a little bit of school life. Day 1 is not far off for them.

Term 4 finishes in three weeks. My expectation is that all students finish the year well. That means applying themselves to their studies, maintaining a respectful and safe school environment and adhering to the school policies and procedures, including the uniform and grooming policy. In particular, students need to complete assessments on time, both draft and final; ensure they are respectful to teachers and peers at all times; and display a high standard of dress. I ask that all parents and carers to reinforce this with their children.

Enjoy the final weeks of term and please do not hesitate to contact me with any queries you may have.
