Year 7 & 9 students enjoyed a memorable and unique hands-on learning experience when they recently visited the Ekka Royal Queensland Show on Friday 16th August. 

Year 9 Students went as part of their agricultural studies and had the opportunity to explore the Agricultural Hall featuring plenty of 'ag-ucational' activities, including the Field to Fork interactive rural journey. Students also got the chance to look at the different beef breeds on display and talk to studs and industry professionals about which cattle breeds would be most suited to our school ag plot. 

Year 7 students also had a busy day taking in all the displays and activities relating to their Science, Geography and Agricultural Science studies, as well as completing an EKKA treasure hunt! At the end of a busy day, students were able to check out the Showbag Pavilion and enjoy some rides!
