Year 11 Modern History students took a drive on Monday 12th August to learn more about our local history. They were joined by Mr Roger Willis, from Amiens History Association and took the Armistice Way to Amiens Legacy Centre, learning about the Pikedale Soldiers Settlement Scheme along the way. Students found it fascinating to learn about the legacy of so many World War I returned soldiers and the amazing work of locals in researching and restoring our not-so-ancient past.
