Catholic Education Week will be celebrated across Queensland from 28th July – 3rd August 2019. This annual event is held to promote the special ethos of Catholic schools and to highlight the great things that take place in Catholic schools every day. The theme for this year’s celebrations is: Many Voices. One Spirit.

Several events will be happening on our campuses throughout the week and a warm invitation is extended to family and friends to attend.

Sunday 28^th July 

To celebrate the launch of Catholic Education Week mass will be celebrated in St Joseph’s Church at 8:30am. Students are invited to join in celebrating the liturgy and are asked to wear their formal school uniform. 

Tuesday 30^th July

A prayer liturgy will be held in the Bathersby Centre commencing at 11:30am. Family and friends are welcome to join all students in a special prayer celebration. Former students will speak about life at St. Joseph’s during their schooling years.  A sausage sizzle will follow as well as guided tours by our senior students for those who are interested.

Monday 29^th July – Thursday 2^nd August

A history display will be set up in the library foyer near the reception area. A collection of photos, school uniforms and other memorabilia will be available for viewing throughout the week.  Please feel free to pop in and have a look at the incredible history of St. Joseph’s School over the past 144 years.
