Congratulations to Year 8 student Thomas Petrie for receiving the Southern Downs Regional Council Junior Sportsperson of the Year (Southern Region) Award on Australia Day.
An award very well deserved !
Congratulations also to Mick Mahoney (Assistant to the Principal Formation and Identity Megan Mahoney’s husband) who received the Southern Downs Regional Council Sports Administrator of the Year (Southern Region) Award.
To our Parish Priest, Father Gonzo, who is now a "fair dinkem Aussie".
Fr Gonzo was sworn in as an Australian Citizen during the Australia Day procedings.
Fr Gonzo also spent time with the Year 5 students talking to them about his experience of becoming an Australian Citizen.
