Another round of Aussie inspired desserts developed by our Year 9 Home Economics who had to choose an Aussie snack and develop their own original dessert recipe inspired by the flavours, textures and ingredients of the snack item.

Cheesecakes, cupcakes, brownies and layered cakes were created in response to Aero, Fairy Bread, Caramel Tim Tams, Violet Crumble and Chomp!

The students did a great job using a design process to brainstorm ingredient possibilities, develop dessert ideas and problem solve their final choice to present it as a single serve. A very tasty way to end our year!
