In Design and Technology, the Year 3 class were to research and design a paper plane that would be able to be flown the longest distance and be accurate over a distance of five metres to fly though a hoop.

The students gathered data of the distances achieved and explored how best to present this data using Excel to create graphs.   

Finally, students were asked to justify their designs in terms of the distance and accuracy achieved.
