SBA LUNCHEON
Year 12 students are getting ready to graduate, with only a number of weeks to go before they complete their Secondary education. For four St Joseph’s School students, they are also about to complete their school-based apprenticeship or traineeship!
To acknowledge and thank the host employers for providing our students with the opportunity to participate in a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship, an Employer Thank You Luncheon was held on Monday 17th October at the Queensland College of Wine Tourism.
The host employers not only provided students with the opportunity to work as a paid employee and obtain a recognised qualification, but also supported the students through navigating ‘the world of work’.
The luncheon also recognised the Year 12 students who have worked diligently to complete their work hours and units of competency in order to obtain their qualification.
Congratulations to all our students and thank you to the employers.
