Yr 8 Art – A different sort of class photo!

After looking at Thai-Australian ceramic artist, Vipoo Srivilasa’s Little People series he created during lockdown in 2020, students designed and created their own ‘little people’ based on their inner self, using imagery, symbols, patterns and details to reflect their personality, likes, hobbies and interests.

Students used Vipoo’s construction process to make their figurine and did well to problem solve working with clay. They have made quirky and individual figurines. These will dry and be taken to the Pottery Club next term to be fired in the kiln, before they complete them by painting or glazing.
