As part of the Primary Leadership Program, the Year 6 leaders with the responsibility for the environment of the school have become disheartened by the amount of rubbish that is generated each day from food waste and packaging. 

Year 6 students hope that students will gain an understanding of the damage that excess rubbish can cause therefore Year 6 students took the time to talk to students in the Year 2 classroom to share their knowledge and expertise about recycling and reducing rubbish.

They also visited the Year 1 and Year 3 classrooms.
