BIRMINGHAM BREAKFAST
Tuesday 2nd August, saw students and staff film the 'Birmingham Breakfast' with Brenna Kean and Brandon Wakeling - two Australian weightlifters who have been competing in the Commonwealth Games in the UK. Some of the footage will be used by Channel 7 as part of their coverage of the Games in forthcoming days.
This was a wonderful opportunity for some of our students to pose questions to an athlete who is competing at the Games. The footage was recorded and will then be used by Channel 7 during their coverage. We were very excited as we are the only QLD host school and one of five schools chosen from 111 who nominated themselves to be host schools.
Well done students and Good Luck to all athletes competing in the Commonwealth Games.
