QISSN
Our QISSN team headed off to Mackay during the September school holidays to compete in the Queensland Independent Secondary Schools Netball Carnival.
With 64 schools competing over five days, the QCUniversity QISSN Competition is an excellent opportunity for our girls to showcase their netball skills.
Congratulations to our QISSN team who finished divisional runners-up at the carnival. It was an outstanding effort, the best ever by a St Joey‘s team.
Well done to Taryn McCosker who received the Most Valued Player Award for our team. Thank you to Mrs Karen Petrie, Mrs Sandra Ellis, and Mr Jacob Steele for their support of the team and the many hours they have put in. Mrs Petrie's experience as a professional player and coach has certainly helped the team and individual players to do their best.
Thank you also to the many family members who supported the team in Mackay. We are looking forward to another successful year next year.
You have done St Joseph's School very proud !

Netball
Well done to our Primary netballers who came away winners in the Town v Country finals against Greenlands which was played on Friday 15th July.
In a very close and competitive game, St Joseph's took the trophy with the final score of 17 -11. All players played a great game.
Thank you to the 2 boys who stepped in at short notice due to injuries and sickness. Thank you also to Greenlands for a fantastic game.
All students went home feeling very proud of themselves!

Soccer
