Volleyball 

Tuesday 23rd November, saw the Year 9-11 students play in the second game of Volleyball against the Stanthorpe State High School. Students needed to win this game to give them a chance at winning the shield.

The team was competitive and some brilliant rallies took place that even kept the umpire, Mr Damien Petrie, on his toes. Unfortunately, we went down in straight sets 14-25 and 20-25. Congratulations to Stanthorpe State High for winning the shield.

For the third set, teams were mixed up, giving students the opportunity to play in teams with students from the other school. All in all, a fun day was had and hopefully the friendly competition continues annually. 

Thanks to Mr Petrie for umpiring and to teachers and students who cam eto watch and support.  It created a terrific atmosphere and made the students feel like rockstars.
