LOUD SHIRT DAY
We had another colourful day at school on Friday 22nd October with bright and patterned shirts for Loud Shirt Day (organised by our Student Council).
This is a day to create awareness and fundraise to help support children who are deaf and have hearing needs. Students from Primary and Secondary over $500, with funds going to Hear and Say, a centre for deaf children. Some of our St Joey's students have and continue to access Hear and Say's programs and speech therapy.
It was a fun way to end our week and practice our Mercy value of 'service' and 'human dignity'.
